I truly love Apple, which is why it hurts so bad whenever they fuck up. This time, they told us that the iPhone OS 4 upgrade was going to work just fine on the iPhone 3G, minus a few features (like multitasking) that the 3G's inferior processor wouldn't be able to handle. Had I known then that I was about get screwed so bad, I probably would've reached for the lube.
